WD to announce 750GB enterprise-class hard drives

Western Digital launched ‘WD RE2(RAID Edition)’, its 750 GB enterprise-class hard drives.
Addressing a growing high-capacity enterprise market, WD RE2 drives have reliability rated at 1.2 million hours MTTF(mean time to failure) in high duty cycle environments, claims the company.
With 3.0 Gb/s data transfer rate, WD RE2 hard drives feature Native Command Queuing(NCQ) and 16MB cache for high system performance.
